THE FEELIES

The Feelies are an iconic indie rock and post-punk band from Haledon, New Jersey, formed in the late ’70s by Glenn Mercer and Bill Million. They first made waves in the New York underground scene with Crazy Rhythms (1980), a cult classic of post-punk and jangle pop, built on jangly guitars, tight rhythms, and a unique sound that influenced bands like R.E.M.

Over the years, they’ve evolved while staying true to their style, releasing great albums like The Good Earth, Only Life, and Time for a Witness, all key records in alternative rock and indie music history.

When they reunited in 2008 after a 17-year hiatus, The Feelies picked up right where they left off. Their albums Here Before and In Between show the same chemistry and subtle magic that’s always defined them, proving their sound is as vital as ever.

Still performing and recording today, they continue to do what they’ve always done best: blending indie rock, post-punk energy, and jangle pop melodies with a warm, understated approach.
