THE FEELIES

The Feelies w/Jeff Tweedy - Live at MOCA, 2019

Lasting Rhythms

In the years following their reunion, The Feelies settled into a quiet but steady rhythm, continuing to perform a handful of shows each year while occasionally returning to the studio. Their appearances have remained selective, often centered around the New York and New Jersey area, but they continue to play to loyal audiences who come to hear the band’s distinctive interplay of guitars and rhythm.

In October 2023, The Feelies released Some Kinda Love: Performing the Music of The Velvet Underground, their first official live album. Recorded at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City in 2018, it captures the band’s sold-out tribute to one of their biggest influences.

Rather than imitation, it is a conversation: the band is filtering the Velvets’ spirit through their own rhythmic style. The result is both reverent and alive, proof of how naturally those songs fit into the Feelies’ musical DNA.

2018 - Today

In June 2025, they followed with Rewind, a nine-song collection of covers drawn from sessions and performances across their later years. It brings together material they have long cherished, from Patti Smith and Neil Young to Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Doors, and The Rolling Stones, all rendered in the band’s unmistakable jangle and pulse. Far from a side project, Rewind feels like a quiet reflection on the music that shaped them.

After 50 years, The Feelies remain true to their name: steady, subtle, and endlessly rhythmic. Their music endures not through volume or spectacle, but through the simple, lasting power of connection.
