Personal careers - Dave Weckerman

Dave was the first Feelies member to have a personal project, a 7" realised in 1980 and including two tracks:

After the Feelies broke, Dave created the Wake Ooloo with Glenn Mercer. He sings and plays drums on all the three albums recorded by the group.
The Wake Ooloo disbanded in 1998.

In 1997 Dave and Glenn Mercer started playing around the New Jersey area with the True Wheel.
They haven't realised any record till now, but there is a live song (Who say?) on the Buda Bootleg Vol.1 compilation by New Brunswick Underground.

The True Wheel

The last project involving Dave is the Sunburst: members include Stan Demeski, Glenn Mercer and former Trypes / Speed the Plough Toni Paruta, Marc Francia and John Baumgartner. The band recorded a 3 demo songs tape at the end of 1998.
